Registered Physiotherapist

M.Sc. Physical Therapy
Growing up, sports and outdoor activities were an essential part of my life. I played competitive sports through most of high school, including football, basketball and track and field. I also enjoyed skating and snowboarding for leisure. My passion for the field of physiotherapy stems from my time as a kinesiology student at McGill University. During that time, I had the opportunity to help adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder fine-tune their gross motor skills. I also worked with adults living with a neuromuscular or neurological disorder with the objective of regaining and maintaining functional health. Following my Bachelor’s degree and prior to beginning my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University, I spent 3 months in Vietnam. In a small village, I provided rehabilitation to individuals sustaining a spinal cord injury. This experience solidified my desire to pursue a profession in physiotherapy. During my time as a physiotherapy student at McGill University, I had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings, including in-patient care in hospital settings, to out-patient care in clinical settings, and in rural India.
I am passionate about providing all my clients with a positive experience. I work closely with clients to determine their goals, understand their medical history and functional limitations, and provide individualized, needs-based treatment plans. Multiple modalities are integrated to offer sound care, including manual therapy, education, and tailored exercise programs. An emphasis is placed on managing injuries in the short-term, preventing recurrences, and ensuring long-term health. Enthusiastic about tackling new challenges, I go above and beyond to problem-solve issues presented to me by my clients.
I am an advocate of lifelong learning and push myself to engage in continuing education. I consistently work with the newest evidence-informed treatment methods.
Outside of being a physiotherapist, I can be found spending my time outdoors, as well as participating in multiple sports, including basketball and rock climbing.
